Event Overview

South Australian government agencies are shifting from designing roadmaps to delivering visible, measurable uplift. As the state progresses toward Government 3.0—a more connected, data-driven and citizen-centred model of public service—cyber resilience is becoming a core operational priority. Following the release of South Australia’s Cyber Security Strategy, agencies are embedding security into everyday operations, from ageing core systems and statewide platforms to new AI-enabled services, ensuring commitments around critical infrastructure, telco resilience, data protection and citizen trust translate into real-world outcomes for South Australians.

The Government Cyber Security Showcase South Australia on 10 June 2026 will bring together senior leaders to examine how policy, investment and collaboration are reshaping the state’s cyber posture. Discussions will highlight the human and community dimension of security – how openness, transparency and citizen-first approaches to data protection are vital to rebuilding trust after outages, breaches and service disruptions.

This year’s showcase is designed to help delegates:

  • Explore the implementation of the SA Cyber Security Strategy and whole-of-government platforms.
  • Understand new risks to legacy environments, cloud and hybrid systems as mainframe and back-office modernisation gathers pace.
  • Learn how SA agencies and the Office for AI are using artificial intelligence both as a defensive capability and a transformation tool without compromising security or ethics.

Designed for cybersecurity professionals, solution providers, and decision-makers, this event offers a unique platform to drive meaningful progress in securing South Australia’s digital government ecosystem
