AI & Enhanced Productivity
The AI & Enhanced Productivity track addresses the reality that every role in British Columbia's public sector is now touched by AI as the province transitions from Government 2.0 to Government 3.0. Moving beyond Government 2.0's fragmented digital tools, this track explores how public servants across all departments—finance, legal, policy, procurement, and operations—can work with AI to drive productivity, efficiency, and better decision-making aligned with BC's Government 3.0 priorities of anticipation, integration, and people-centricity. Sessions deliver practical frameworks for AI literacy, human-AI collaboration in daily workflows, ethical guardrails, and new organizational capabilities in an AI-enabled public service. Designed for workforce leaders, process improvement champions, and business unit managers, this track equips attendees with actionable strategies to embed AI in everyday work without requiring deep technical skills—empowering BC's public servants to deliver more value with existing resources while upholding the transparency and accountability that define responsible Government 3.0 innovation.
